See below our list of the best classic car events in the north of England
1. Donnington Historic Festival – Donnington, Derbyshire

Whether you’re a long-time enthusiast or have never seen a historic racing car in action before, you’ll find plenty to entertain you at the Donington Historic Festival. The event is firmly established as a major fixture on the international historic racing calendar, attracting many thousands of spectators, hundreds of world-class historic racing cars and huge numbers of classic car club displays.

As the archive videos on this page show, Donington Park has a fabulous history, from the days of the pre-War Silver Arrows GP cars right through to modern times, and the Festival calls upon all that history, creating a fantastic atmosphere at what is arguably the best spectator circuit in the country.

As well as watching such iconic machines fighting it out on the track, spectators can wander round the race paddocks, enjoying free access and getting up close to the cars and stars. And there are always plenty of off-track attractions and live-action and extensive club displays of classic cars from the dozens of car clubs that create a ‘living motoring museum’ right in the heart of the infield. We look forward to welcoming you to the Donington Historic Festival!

2. The Summer Jaguar Festival – Newby Hall, Ripon, North Yorkshire, UK

The Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club’s Jaguar Festival moves north for 2020, taking over the stately Newby Hall in the Yorkshire Dales for three days of Big Cat-related fun.

Information is relatively scarce at present, but the club says it’ll have “plenty of surprises, celebrations and special displays” plus an all-new ‘moving motor show’ display.

3. NEC Classic Motor Car Show – Birmingham NEC

The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery, which brings together a great array of classic car and motorcycle clubs with halls full of iconic classic and vintage cars and motorbikes, is an event not to be missed by any classic car/bike owner, collector, enthusiast, club member, or simply anyone with a passion for classic vehicles!

But it’s not just about the classics on display. As well as admiring these amazing vehicles, you can shop for those elusive pieces in the autojumble or source parts and tools for your maintenance and restoration needs from the many specialist traders.
If you’re in the market to buy a classic, then you will find an outstanding range on offer from the Dealer’s Hall and at Silverstone Auctions.

If you’re after some action you can hear talks from motoring celebrities on the Live Stage, learn from restoration demonstrations in the theatre, or take a driving experience with Sporting Bears or HERO.

Introducing Montagu Gulf

Our aim is to make the best of northern England available to Gulf nationals. When visiting the UK, London was the obvious choice for most of our clients, but as we expose more of what the north has to offer, we are seeing rapid growth and an increased interest in our region.

From business opportunities, celebrity introductions, procurement projects, to utilising our great expanse of nature for sports which are hugely popular in Arab culture. We are showcasing the largely untapped North of England to those seeking new endeavours and exclusive experiences.

We represent our home region to the gulf, with a strong team of hand selected contacts, we uniquely understand both geographic regions and cultures with the networks to support any enquiry.
